William Buck’s commitment to helping to inspire young leaders in the Australian community has culminated in a longstanding sponsorship over 16 years with The Halogen Foundation, supporting the Foundation and their National Young Leaders Day events.
William Buck Director, Graham Spring, says the work of the Halogen Foundation, and in particular their National Young Leaders day, aligns with the values of our firm and has been a wonderful partnership since 2001.
The Halogen Foundation is dedicated to inspiring and influencing a generation of young people to learn how to lead themselves and others. It hosts unique youth development programs which encourage learning and understanding in the areas of peer influence and leadership.
“Developing and fostering leadership is a key element to what we do as a business and resonates in the way we work with our clients. We also bring those skills to bear in mentoring and building the capabilities of our younger workforce to instil those leadership skills early and develop their confidence amongst their peers,” says Graham.
“It also underpins our brand promise of changing lives. We want to help to change the lives of our clients and actively support endeavours outside of our business that aim to do the same.”
“While our sponsorship with The Halogen Foundation will come to a close at the end of 2016, we have been immensely proud to be a key sponsor for the past 16 years and to work closely with the Foundation to provide audit and accounting support.”
“It has been a valuable opportunity for William Buck to give back to the education sector at a very grassroots level and support an organisation focused on driving positive change for our next generation of leaders.”
