Historic horticultural business agreement signed By William Buck on 01/01/14 - Mins to read: 1 minute William Buck New Zealand’s China desk was instrumental in assisting the signing of a historic co-operation and joint venture agreement in the international horticultural industry. For commercial sensitivity reasons we cannot disclose the names of the companies involved, but can disclose it involves companies in NZ, HK and China, and ranges from genetics to packaging and supply. We have no doubt the impact of this agreement will alter the future landscape of parts of the horticultural industry throughout Asia Pacific. Two and a half years in the making, the agreement is the first of its kind and takes full advantage of a number of aspects of the NZ/China free trade agreement. William Buck were able to keep this agreement on track because of our specific knowledge of the horticulture industry together and with our highly experienced China desk team. Culminating in an official signing ceremony in our boardroom we look forward to assisting the group in their ongoing Asia Pacific expansion.
