Well known throughout her extensive career in tax specialist roles at large accounting firms in both the corporate tax and private enterprise divisions and as tax partner in a suburban accounting firm, Sharon builds strong relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
Sharon has an extensive knowledge of general corporate tax issues gained through a diverse client base that she has worked with over the years, including CEO’s, CFO’s, Tax Managers and directly with business owners. Well known for her attention to detail, reliability, and approachable nature, Sharon enjoys guiding her clients through the complexity of tax issues that impact them at different stages in their business cycle.
Sharon’s experience includes advising on the tax implications of acquisitions and divestments of businesses and companies, corporate structuring and restructuring, public offerings and taxation consultancy in relation to clients, owned either in Australia or overseas.
“Guiding my clients through the complexity of the tax law, liaising with the ATO on their behalf, ensuring they meet tax compliance deadlines and manage tax risk whilst understanding the commercial realities of running their business is what I love about my job”. Sharon embraces the role as a trusted tax and business advisor for her clients.
In her spare time, Sharon is an avid reader, churning through a book a week and is a big supporter of female authors and stories set in outback Australia. Sharon also enjoys a daily walk with her fur child Charley.
